In our community, there is a significant issue among underserved youth who have aged out of foster care. These young people face numerous challenges, including a lack of resources, education, and life skills training. As a result, many are pushed into homelessness, substance abuse, and risky situations like prostitution. Additionally, the cycle often continues with multiple births and involvement with child protective services. At Thomlyn Cove Solutions, we are dedicated to addressing these problems head-on. We provide transitional housing for these young adults, along with comprehensive educational classes to help them develop important skills. Our aim is to empower them with the knowledge necessary to obtain certifications, college degrees, or vocational training. By doing so, we are giving them the tools they need to break free from the cycle and create a better future for themselves.

We began by supporting three youth with personal funds and realized how many others face the same crisis: homelessness, financial illiteracy, and a lack of love and guidance. Thomlyn Cove Solutions was born to provide a sustainable and supportive solution for these young adults.

Our community faces high rates of youth homelessness, addiction, and generational trauma. We directly address these challenges by offering shelter, education, and stability to help youth break harmful cycles and create productive futures.

Our greatest accomplishment is the tangible change we see—youth growing, thriving, and leaving the streets behind. After 35 years in education, mentoring, and watching these individuals reclaim their lives, this is our greatest reward.
